 Lieutenant Yerima: Rising Star in Nigeria’s Naval Force

Lieutenant Am Yerima, a young and dedicated officer in the Nigerian Navy, is earning recognition for his professionalism and commitment to duty.

Born on July 20, 1992, in Kaduna State, Yerima began his academic journey at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, where he studied Mass Communication before proceeding to the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA).

A member of the 64 Regular Course, the 33-year-old officer serves with the Navy’s elite Special Boat Service and has been attached to strategic naval units, including NNS Kada.

Lieutenant Yerima has also represented Nigeria in international military exercises, notably Exercise Flintlock 2018 in Agadez, Niger.

Known for his discipline and adherence to lawful orders, Yerima’s steady rise in the ranks reflects his dedication to service, tactical excellence, and the values of the Nigerian Navy.
